Oh no, the dinosaurs have been hiding all over Mister Dave’s layout for some time, but a few of them got tired of just watching the trains and now they have hopped aboard to ride!! Check out the new Dinosaur Train on the Golden~Blackhawk & Central City

Watch out for a shiny new locomotive on the layout – it’s a Seaboard Locomotive Type E7 with both A and B units. With a bright yellow livery, you can’t miss it!

On June 9, the Golden~Blackhawk & Central City welcomed the editors of the Trackside Model Railroading magazine (https://www.tracksidemodelrailroading.com/). They spent several hours filming the layout and we look forward to seeing the results of their work in an upcoming issue.

The painted walkway tells us these are special cleaner cars.  We keep them in the railyard & can always find them via these special walkways – a good idea from crew member Douglas LaRue!

It’s another happy Saturday at the Tomball Train Depot as folks enjoy seeing our Z-scale trains traverse the great Golden~Blackhawk and Central City Model Railroad.
